We gathered some of LA’s arts and culture leaders, and friends of Arkive together for lunch to kick off the fall art season. Building community is a term that’s used a lot these days - and considering how much the world has changed since we gathered last week, it couldn’t be more important. Art has the ability to express and transcend the human condition and it can be a common language during times of grief and struggle.

We’d like to take this show on the road and bring the community together to build meaningful relationships and to celebrate art and local artists who are making a positive impact. Shout out to our host, Ed Freedman from Stable Road Capital/Stable Road Foundation, for welcoming us to his beautiful space featuring works by Ed Ruscha, Raymond Pettibon, and Robert Colescott among others. And many thanks to Chef Katie Chin for the delicious food and beverage.

It was wonderful getting to connect with everyone who came, we look forward to doing it again soon.
